Alex Hughes currently serves as Government Records Archivist at the Troup County Historical Society Archives and Legacy Museum. He serves as the President of the LaGrange Chapter, Georgia Society, Sons of the American Revolution. Hughes holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Alabama where he was invited to join Beta Phi Mu. Hughes earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from LaGrange College. Hughes was born in Macon, Georgia but raised in Newnan, Georgia. He enjoys traveling, reading, discovering new shows to binge-watch, and spending time with his fiancee Katie and their Westie, Archie.
