Linda McMullen
“I participate with the Lafayette Alliance because a conversation with Dr. Ingram piqued my curiosity and I found there was much about Lafayette – regarding his values and actions; his position on slavery and other issues – that I did not know. I am interested in helping the Alliance to teach and share some of those stories of his life and influence.”
Linda McMullen moved to LaGrange with her family in 1999 to become the Director of the LaGrange College Evening College. A full-time faculty member in 2004, she now serves as the Ely R. Callaway Sr., Associate Professor of Management and International Business. McMullen was awarded the ACBSP Teacher of Excellence Award for Region 3 in 2018, and the United Methodist Board of Higher Education and Ministry Teaching Award in 2015. She holds a B.S. in Human Resource Management and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College (PA), and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University (CA).
McMullen, a former member of the LaGrange Writers’ Group, has enjoyed service in nonprofit organizations, including United Way, LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, Boys & Girls Clubs, Calumet Neighborhood Park Association, and Hillside Montessori School.
